Rahman Danish and his staff distributed material assistance to people of Sundray Village on Feb. 5. Fifty families from the Sadray Village attended the event. Villagers received food and clothing items. Rice and beans were divided into family sized portions to prevent waste.
Sub-Governor Rahman Danish regularly distributes Material Assistance to villages in his district. The Sub-Governor has developed a plan to target the poorest families of each village in order to relieve some of the burden of poverty. In the middle of the winter, when food resources are scarce and temperatures are freezing, poor people need the help the most.
Village elders are also involved in the process of selecting and prioritizing the poorest families in their villages. Over the next few months the Sub-Governor will distribute beans, rice, flour, cooking oil, and cold weather clothing. When finished, he will have aided several hundred families in over 17 different villages.
The Sub-Governor and his staff have established a good routine to ensure that the material aid distribution is conducted in nice and orderly fashion
Prayer rugs were also distributed at the event. The rugs are part of an ongoing effort of Sub-Governor Rahman Danish to encourage religious and governmental unity.
Two district employees prepare the items for distribution. Rice and beans were divided into family sized portions to prevent waste. The orderly distribution of the HA was a good example of the discipline the Sub-Governors staff has while conducting HA distribution. This type of order ensrues that every family receives a fair share of HA.
