20071201-A-3218C-010.JPGInjil District, Herat Province: The 207th Corps of the Afghan National Army, Herat Police and Coalition Forces traveled to six different villages in western Afghanistan providing medical treatment and humanitarian assistance. Over 2300 men, women and children were treated for various ailments, scheduled for surgeries and received food, clothing, blankets and stoves during the four day mission. Missions like these are a daily occurrence as the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan demonstrates its dedication to improving the lives of its citizens, the soldiers, Afghan and Coalition alike enjoy meeting and helping the local citizens.
