Farouq School, Noor Abad Village: Parents and children of Noor Abad
Village saw the Islamic Government of Afghanistan in action last week
when it, through the soldiers of the ANA and Coalition built a new
school building. 120 students crowded into the old building and many
classes were taught outside when weather permitted. With winter
approaching outside classes will no longer be a concern from the
impressive new brick building. The Headmaster of the school was very
happy with the improvements, “I cannot believe how fast things are
happening. For the longest time we heard promise after promise from the
Government... but now we see things being done. I appreciate you. The
children appreciate you.”
