BAGRAM AIR FIELD, Afghanistan (September 11, 2008) – A Coalition service member was killed while conducting combat operations in eastern Afghanistan, today. 

The name and nationality of the service member is being withheld until next of kin notification is complete.

This incident is under investigation.
